Black Owned Business, PotatoHeadz, Being Forced Out Of Their Location

We are very saddened to say that PotatoHeadz, a black owned restaurant in College Park, GA, is being forced out of their lease by a new landlord.  The restaurant owners have been barraged with an onslaught of questionable tactics in an effort to frustrate them into abandoning their lease.

Apparently there has been a lot of talk about their location suddenly becoming very valuable due to some new development deals in the works.  The new property owners are doing any and everything they can to get the restaurant owners to get out.

The community has really taken to the PotatoHeadz concept and the couple was making a name for themselves in the city.

Many people are not happy with how the new landlord is trying to intimidate the couple.  There have been a lot of incidents reported and he even hired a painting crew to continuously paint directly in front of the restaurant doors to discourage customers from entering.
