The College Park Chapter of BlackBusinessList.Com held their inaugural "Business After Hours" networking event on Tuesday May 12, 2015.

In attendance were business owners and professionals that represent a wide range of services.

The event turned out to be a great evening and many new business connections were made.  Guest speaker, Marcia L. Knox of Cetera, received a certificate of appreciation presented by BBL founder and chapter president, Stephen Wicks.

Mr. Wicks said, "I am excited to see this chapter get off the ground.  The group of people that assembled here today are just the type of people that we're looking for to be apart of our movement.  We must create networks of Black people that are sincere about business creation and having a positive impact on Black economics."

We can confirm that Marcia L. Knox will be the featured speaker at our May 12, 2015 networking event.

Ms. Knox works with many different investment companies and asset managers to create customized investment strategies for clients based on their goals, times horizons and tolerance for risk. 

She currently works with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC and can help clients choose the options that make the most sense for their particular situation.

Her specialties include:Wealth Accumulation and Risk Management.  Come learn more about how entrepreneurs can create long term wealth while building their businesses.

The College Park Chapter of BlackBusinessList.Com hosts monthly networking events for their members and visitors.  Participants are asked to bring lots of business cards to share and build their personal networks.  

There will be music, light refreshments, learning, and fun.
