Now they're combining 30 plus years of success and resources to form Candace Creative, an African American owned firm, specializing in professional, strategic marketing and creative services for faith-based organizations, non-profits and small businesses.

Although serving small businesses and churches may seem an unlikely match, Candace Creative has found both constituencies have common needs when it comes to marketing. A graduate of the University of California Berkeley, with over 12 years of private and public sector marketing experience, Ms. Scott has worked with such organizations as ADP, Netnoir.com, The University of California Berkeley Police Department, and The Learning Company. Most recently, she brought that experience to the faith community in her work as Marketing Manager for Greater St. Paul Baptist Church of Oakland.

During her tenure there, she increased the visibility of the mega-ministry through cutting edge outdoor advertising and promotional collateral design including launching Vision, a 24-page, glossy news magazine that has quickly become the gold standard of promotional collateral for churches in the Bay Area.
