Chin is the winner of the 1999 People of Color Poetry Slam. She has been featured at the Joseph Papp Public Theater and the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem. She was recently featured on a "60 Minutes" segment about the rise of performance poetry.

Entertainment provided Stories of the Dance, as choreographed by Abdel Salaam, where movement is used instead of words.
